The new Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4MATIC+ is the world’s fastest series production four-seater on the legendary North Loop of the Nürburgring. Record time 7:25:41 was officially measured and notarially certified. Sat at the wheel of the fully equipped standard eight-cylinder model was AMG Development Engineer Demian Schaffert. The former racing driver developed the high level of driving dynamics of the four-door coupé. He was able to demonstrate the performance of the powerful 470 kW/639 hp sports car to impressive effect with his record lap.
